Kings County Academy is a primary to grade eight school located in Kentville, Nova Scotia and is part of the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board. In addition to the regular elementary and junior high course offering, KCA offers a French Immersion programme inclusive of grades primary to grade 8. The school has a total enrollment of approximately 614 students and 70 staff members serving the needs of its students. Upon completing grade eight, students leaving KCA attend Northeast Kings Education Center in Canning.

KCA has a long history and a strong community base.

KCA is also a PEBS (Positive, Effective, Behavior Support) School. This means we identify and clearly communicate to students what positive behavior expectations are and support them in meeting these expectations. SPRING FLING

Wednesday, May 29^th

4:30-7 pm

Enjoy the fun and excitement of our annual spring fling on Wednesday, May 29 (raindate is Thursday, May 30th). There will be a bounce castle, candy bags, fruit loop necklaces, a frog pond and a cupcake corner. Try your luck at Plinko, bowling or have your nails painted. Sit down and have a cup of coffee or purchase delicious treats at the bake table. The PTA will be selling barbecued hotdogs, hamburgers, pop and other yummy treats.

Each activity will require tickets. Tickets can be purchased for 25 cents each at the ticket booth. Cost for the BBQ is separate. Proceeds from the Spring Fling will go to classrooms.

Want books for the summer? Stop by the library and purchase a book from the Scholastic Book Fair.

Come out and have a great time while supporting KCA! This event is open to the whole community.
